I am sick and tired of these damn people who think they're evil. Screw you! The truly evil people know who they are, and this rant is not for them (although they might agree with it). But it pisses me off to see how many people are worshipping vampires. People who believe that mass murderers, serial killers and rapists are people to look up to. I hate these idiots who are tiring to rebel and figure that "wow, everybody hates evil, I think I'll worship Satan."
First off, what do you dumb-sses know about Vampires? "They suck blood and kill and are cool because they live forever." Being a vampire is a *curse*! If it doesn't drive you insane, turn you into a ravenous beast, it will turn you into a murderer with no belief in emotions. If you're lucky the last bite will kill you.
Death. All of these "poser-evils" seem to embrace death. From glorifying suicide to condoning murder. I have held dead people in my arms, I have come within 1 cm of killing another human being. I was lucky enough to know where to stop. Killing is something that you never quite recover from, And so to all the numb-nuts who think that killing themselves only hurts themselves and that it's cool to die because this world sucks. I agree, the world sucks, but everytime the string is cut it gets thinner and longer the next time it is spun. Killing (yourself or others) is a last resort, I will only consider killing when my (or one of my peoples') life is on the line. I have survived several bouts of severe depression when I was within inches of committing suicide. I'm not trying to preach, or gather your pity, I'm just laying it on the line. It's your life, it's supposedly your decision but every action creates ripples and reactions, consider all of the consequences before you bite the barrel or cut that vein.
Religion, The topic guaranteed to start arguments across the boards. I believe in most of of the morals and rules in the Bible, I don't worship any god, and The only Wiccan attribute I carry is "and it harm none." I don't belong to any church, I feel that modern humankind (I hate being PC) has corrupted the meaning of the Bible, and that most of the Members of the Church of Satan are the same posers that I've been ranting about. I know too little about the other major Religions to make a opinion, other than the fact that I could never live up to their standards of conduct. Back to the point, these people are thinking "Well Christianity sucks, you have to be a good person (the last thing a rebel wants to be thought of is good) so I'll worship Satan." There wasn't even a Church of Satan until Anton Le Vey founded it in the 1970's, the Enochian <sp> Keys are a joke, and while the Satanic Bible has some good points, in general it's just another prop for the teenager who wants to get back at their parents (along with Marilyn Manson and Green hair dye). I doubt that any true worshipper of Satan has a Satanic Bible. Evil is not watching Marilyn Manson rip pages out of a bible or wipe his -ss with the American flag, That's just Symbolism. Evil isn't using animal Sacrifice to summon a demon, that's just a method, (NOTE: I do NOT condone animal sacrifice, There are so many easier ways to gain the necessary magical energy). Magic is no more evil than Electricity, both are just powers to be manipulated for good or evil. Evil is a state of mind and a way of life. "Satan" is just a manifestation of belief (like all gods), S/He is neither good nor evil, the actions that the creature takes and the intent of those actions could be evil though.
These posers want to say they're evil just because they don't want to follow the status quo. These posers don't want to be "normal" (and I agree), so They are going to the opposite extreme. But I'll lay odds that if you gave 10 of them guns, only 3 would go shoot people and all of them would just do it of the fun. There are truly evil people out there, some say that they're "insane," "sick," or "diseased." Some say that they are doing the Devil's Work, others just hate without reason. i can't say why evil people do what they do, when I've done something evil (or come close), I know I didn't think I just Reacted.
Finally, I want to say that I am a Rebel, A freelancer, if you follow the Gathering Campaign. I believe in upsetting the Status Quo, green hair dye and fighting to maintain the right. I believe in freedom and the concept of democracy (though not the Mockery that the US gov't has made of that word). I like "Portrait of an American Family" by Marilyn Manson, as well as Segovia, ZZ Top, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Pink Floyd, Ween, Led Zeppelin, NIN, Tool, BB King, Hendrix, Uriah Heep and Sarah McLaughlin. I believe information is the greatest weapon, as Ignorance is gaining allies in the schools and in society. But i'm tired of all the wannabees doing things just because it's forbidden, wrong or Evil. do you think that people will respect you if you're Evil? Fear You? Or will they do what I do whenever I see someone acting evil to be cool, laugh.
